Fixing / Replacing Behringer BCF-2000 top left clicker-dial

Post by part12studios » Mon Oct 19, 2020 2:49 pm

Hi everyone,

So I made a stupid move and snapped off the knob that goes up there. The good news is that it goes right back on and still rotates properly, however the "clicker" part of it no longer clicks. I haven't committed to glue it back on till I know there isn't something I can do to fix the clicking part as well. I haven't opened it up yet and I like to inquire before diving into something full-on (to avoid making more problems). I feel like maybe I could still fix it as it was a clean break, but I don't know the particulars of how those knobs work.

Anyone ever been under the hood of one of these? It's a pretty darn specific part so I'm not optimistic I could just order one between the age of the device and the general nature of support for the non-specialist (read the common man) to have access to said parts without "going through an authori$$$ed dealer"

Thanks,
Caleb
