Post by grahampreston » Wed Oct 25, 2006 6:59 pm

Right guys ive been offered a SQ1 thats working but sayes battery low. So i know it needs a new battery.

Can someone advise on how to do a bulk dump and reload on a SQ1, and whats it like changing the battery on one of these old gals?

Anyone know where you can download the owners manual?

I don't own the manual nor know of a website sescribing the dump procedure BUT I know where you can buy a copy of the manual: http://hometown.aol.com/mishon66/ManualsEnsoniq.html . I bought from them in the past and got an excellent service.

As for the battery, I have not yet worked on the SQ-1 yet but I wouldn't be surprised that Ensoniq used the same 3V Lithium Battery as in the ESQ-1 & SQ-80. Find the procedure here: http://www.pic101.com/ensoniq/battery.htm
