I'm a brand new synth user, I still haven't got my Moog Little Phatty (which will be my first synth). Can the Juno-106 be a good addiction?
Cheers and thanks!

I read from your other post that you like simplicity..so the answer is yes, a very good first timer analog synth, you will learn more about the LP from this keyboard.wahit wrote:Can the Juno-106 be a good addiction?
If ever there was one. Probably as good an addiction as any...although tb-303 withdrawl can really suck a*swahit wrote:Can the Juno-106 be a good addiction?
just make sure you can play it first. and play it for awhile. i bought one a couple years ago turned it on and played it for 15 or 20 minutes. seemed fine. but when i took it after about 30 minutes i noticed that only 3 of the voices worked. i ended up selling it for partswahit wrote:The guy lowered the price to 250 euros. Oh yeah, now I'm must buy it!
First : I fully back Ridethefather's statement. You need to let the synth warm up to notice that. I guess it may depend on each 106 how quick you notice if something wrong. For me it is only after 5 minutes. At the beginning, it is alright, then slowly a voice starts not shutting down anymore, as if the VCA would not be able to come back to "closed" state (full attenuation of the sound).artfulideas wrote:hey, how can you tell if th evoices are out quickly? I might buy one in a few days from someone in my area, and need to test it.
Any quick way to diagnose if everythings ok? I know the voices going out is common.
thanks
