CS voltage normalizer??

Just to show my complete lack of control voltage knowledge, just wondering if anyone makes converters that change Yamaha's weird control voltage into normal v/oct? Is such a thing possible?

Yes, it's possible, and I don't know of any current manufacturers... unless the modular people have one or two between them, which wouldn't surprise me. Korg used to make the MS-02 which converted between the CV systems, but you'd be lucky to find one for sale.

Kenton make MIDI-CV interfaces that put out either V/Oct or Hz/V, but to my knowledge do not make anything that converts from one to the other.

Don't hold your breath but me and my guys are working on a "universal" CV/Midi box.

But with our hand full of synth repairs, it might not see the light of the day before at least the end of the year 2007.

Hmmm, interesting. Perhaps I could get convoluted and get a CV-Midi converter then stick that into a Kenton Midi-CV?

Got one of these and its a solid performer.
I'm using it with my Korg MS10 which has that crazy HZ/Volt scheme and its perfectly matched.
