Synth Repair Books?

Post by Arddhu » Mon Jul 23, 2007 4:07 pm

Fairly simple, just wondering if there's any reccomended books on the matter, specifically analogues. Or should I just get some electronics books?

Cheers,

The scope of repairing and debugging electronics is much broader than a single book so I would recommend a course at your local college. Beyond that, a good general electronics book would give you some overview.

here is a decent site I often use for reference:

Ah that's excellent, cheers.

Yeah, I do appreciate that a simple "Synth Repair for Morons" may not be overly useful in the longterm.

Thanks

If you can find Delton T. Horn's book, they're gold. But unfortunately out of print for ever a decade. And you'll pay dearly for them, especially the synth repair one.

They go for used on Amazon.com... but not for cheap.

It's been in my projects to write down a synth repair book one of these days since the lack of one on the market. But I'm busy over my head. And it won't be free. In the making. See the website once in a while for updates.
