When nothing is specified, a rule of thumb is to assume that 500mA is the minimum requirement.

The voltage MUST be respected but the amperage of the adapter can exceed without any problem.

I'm confused.

is this a custom rack mounted deal you've got going or is this module in, say, a Doepfer bus powered rack? if so you need to get a power adapter that changes both shape and voltage+amperage from ASys's format to doepfer's they're relatively inexpensive, about 25 USD from analogue haven.

if you're doing your own custom rack then you'll need to get the specs from ASys.

Man, was I on drugs last night? I totally had something else in mind. Maybe you can also check with: http://www.analoguesystems.co.uk/index2.htm
