To Yamaha SY-1 specialists

Post by Coconuts » Sun Aug 26, 2007 11:31 am

I have a vibrating problem.

I push down "the vibrato preset" switch, and... it works only with Funny/Pulsar preset. It does not affect any other sound I choose. What's more, there are two knobs: Vibrato speed and Vibrato depth. Vibrato speed works. vibrato depth does not change anything. What's more, this vibrato sounds like an LFO affecting filter cutoff, and not LFO affecting VCO, as it should be the case.
Suggestions ?

I'm by no mean a SY1 expert: I pass more time insside synths than outside.

But if you need the manual: http://www.soundprogramming.net/manuals ... Manual.pdf

And if all fails, maybe it an electronic problem. I don't currently own the service manual nor the schematics but can look it up to find them.
