where do you guys go to buy replacement keys?

Post by The Cancer Years » Sat Nov 10, 2007 2:19 am

I need the high c for my m1 and I googled and got a couple sites but some seem super sketchy, like paypal me money and then I'll send it type s**t.

So, where do you guys go for replacement parts?

I got some keys from this guy. He was nice and shipped quickly at a reasonable price.

I got keys for my CS-5 from him. I had no issues with shipping or money. The keys were like new.

I'm slowly gathering parts from different synths. But my current stock is not too impressive yet (very costy to build up a decent inventory).

But I buy keys for my jobs from Senso (VintagePlanet.nl) or directly from Kevin Lightner (the SynthFool guy). The best sellers I dealt with.

Just like eBay, you send money first and get your stuff after. That's the way it goes online. And that's the way I procede too.

Yeah, same here. I tried asking about a new key for my MG and he sent a picture of two keys. I said "which one do I need and how much" and he acted like he had no idea that he sold replacement keys. I ended up not buying it becasue I couldn't figure out waht he was talking about.

maschinegeist, do you have any MG-1 keys?
so what do I put down here now?

I understand that, but his email was like "yeah paypal me and I'll look and see if I have them, I think they're 8 dollars each."

Unfortunately no. At this moment, I don't have any left. Which key(s) do you need? I can ask around and see who's got some. Email me, it'll be simpler.

 Odd indead. Paypal me so I check if I have the keys I think I sell $8 each... Can it be sketchier than this? Which reminds me Mr. Mark's Music (http://www.mrmarksmusic.com/): another bunch that have no idea what they are selling. An aweful business. Read their feedbacks online (google the name).
