Roland D-110: PWM and LFO??

Post by sepiakeys » Sat Dec 29, 2007 8:12 pm

I own a Roland D-110. I (finally) downloaded the manual and read it thru. I found two things I would consider a faliure in the architecture this machine:

Pulsewidth can only be controlled by the velocity and the LFO only can control the pitch!?

Did I get this right? If yes, is there any way to influence the PWM via external midi-control?

Good programming is worth more than the most expensive synthesizer.

i believe youre correct. not even the cutoff frequency can be swept during a held note so i dont think youll find any way to do PWM during a held note either. sorry.
