Juno 60: Programming Factory Presets Bank B

Post by thesnake383 » Tue Mar 25, 2008 11:55 pm

I recently got me a Juno 60, and I love it. One thing that bites though is that while there is a manual that shows how you can program in the factory presets (bank A), there is no manual to show how you can program in some of the presets of bank B.

Can anyone help?

Might be able to help...

In the back of the manual (pdf version) I have it shows the settings for all of the 56 factory patches - which go in the 7 (patch) banks.

Are you saying you only have visuals for bank 1 and patches 1-8?

I've only been able to find visuals for bank A in the manual. It's factory B I want.

This page has a few audio examples of bank B.

Maybe the reason for that then, is that "factory B" aren't "factory" patches.

Like you said they aren't in the manual and the Juno only has space for 56 anyway...

They are indeed Factory patches - from Roland. The alternate Factory patches.

You can only load them by erasing the "standard" Factory patches - The Korg Polysix, among others - had this type of "A" and "B" Factory patch sets.

Awesome! Thanks for that link. I've already loaded bank B into my 60. There's some really interesting patches in there.

Fair enough.

How were they supplied though? On cassette tape?

It such along time ago since the Juno came out I had kinda forgotten about the whole tape thing...

I guess also if I had bought mine new it woulda had everything from in the box.

And maybe the box too! :D

I just had my JU-60 services and they guy kind of reloaded the Bank A patches (I should of clarified to leave my patches alone). I'm having difficulties loading the Bank B via my Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 so I was hoping to just manually program them. Anyone find these Bank B cheat sheets yet?

Particularly- I'm looking for how to program Bank B Patch 25
