uh, unfortuately I think yr Fizzy may be a candidate for the graveyard. that OS error message does not bode well. look at Carbon111's link, and open up the bottom to check out the voltage regulator. If it never got replaced, the old one finally gave out and scrambled the dsp--ergo one dead Fiz.
when I bought my gently used Fizzer I asked the owner if the VR was replaced and he said the first owner did so. Tell ya I was scared to open it up to confirm, but when I found a tech here that could do the job if need be, I opened it up and indeed the replacement was there. >whew<
I see so many of them on the Bay and when I ask the seller if the VR was replaced they get all defensive and claim "it's worked this long OK, how can it fail?" well, it will, eventually.
