HELP! Grundig Tk 400 reel-to-reel tape machine information:

Post by cyanthearm » Tue Jul 15, 2008 11:37 pm

Ok, so I know it is not specifically synth based, but i thought this would be the best bet because SOMEBODY must know a bit about vintage tape machines.

I recently got a Grundig TK 400 tape machine and I have searched ever nook and cranny of the internet to find information, manuals for use and even service manuals, but alas my search has been fruitless.

Does anyone have anything to say on this matter?

Thanks for the help!

Is that a vintage hi-fi tape recorder? Try audioasylum.

I am trying to make a guitar amp out of a Grundig tk400 which has the following:EF86, EF83, ECC81 and ECL86
I would like to use the circuit and adapt it, but I cant find a schematics. Anyone know where I could find one?

You will find them here - you will need to sign up first though - radiomuseum is a big archive for sure:
