Post by iamrcb » Sun Oct 26, 2008 6:42 pm

Is it possible to modify a Juno 6 to have an audio in?

I would say no easy way as there are 6 VCF->VCA paths in the synth. In a mono there is just one signal path, so you put the audio in right before the one VCF. I guess you could feed the audio in to all 6 paths or find a way to make the synth not rotate voices.

but there actually was a mod for the Polysix to give it an input to the filter..
might be similar to the Juno 6? They're quite similar.. (in a way)

Yeah, the Juno-6 at least has an analog filter on it. So if it was done with a Polysix, it seems possible for a Juno.
Well fffff.

Probably should not speak since I don't really know........

Ahh, what the h**l.

There was a mod on the 106 to put audio in place of the noise slider. Done incorrectly, this effectively looses the noise from the signal path. However, could cut the trace, install a switch and have either.
