Uploading a large mp3 -> 57MB!

Post by Shanesaw » Wed May 13, 2009 10:22 pm

So its an hour long live-set I did (at home) and the mp3 is quite large, where can I up load a file this big? The song hosting website I currently use allows 40MB for VIP members, which, I don't subscribe to. I'd search myself but I was hoping I could get a couple of quick suggestions before I start looking. Thanks!

rapidshare.com maybe?

Learn to use a .rar or .zip utility?

Maybe chop the single recording into 2 smaller mp3s, use the same service?

Pay a few to several bucks a month for a real web host that isn't advertisment h**l for your visitors while they are downloading and listening to your music? I like this option best.

This is far and away the best option, imo. Web hosting is CHEAP, and you'll have private space/bandwidth to use as you like. 1and1.com - $3.99/mo for 10gb of space on a linux host w/ admin panel. I've used them - a huge company, so things are not personal, but it's pretty reliable and easy.
