Dead Roland D-20

Post by slammy » Mon Aug 31, 2009 9:29 pm

Hi all,

I have a Roland D-20 which has decided it no longer wants to play with me anymore. When I switch it on, the matrix display lights up a bunch of squares along the top row and does nothing more. None of the buttons work, so all the diagnostics modes/etc will not work on start up. I've checked the circuits for dry sockets, but they're all A-ok.

Anyone else had this problem, if so, can you help to point me in the right direction?

Thanks :)

Seems like a dead CPU to me, especially if everything seems ok.
