Reason Thor as midi sequencer

Post by supercluster » Wed Sep 09, 2009 1:01 am

Okay, I'm sort of getting the impression this just isn't possible. I wanted to have the sequencer in Reason's Thor send midi to my doepfer modular through my presonus interface. Is there anyway to do this?

So far my searching says "reason doesnt send midi out" is this correct?

Also, are there any soft sequencers for mac OSX that have similar "virtual studio" setups like the reason thor that does have midi out?

thanks
Doepfer A-100, MPC1000, Alesis Ion
Roland Re-20, Moog MF-105, Moog MF-102, boss me50-b

yup and that's that. You can sequence externally via rewire but you cannot do anything from reason beyond what is in reason
