Control of Venue Lighting?

Post by chasesynth » Mon Jan 04, 2010 5:31 am

Im looking for software that can control a venues lighting system?

Every venue my bands played at has had a lighting board, with some lazy light guy barley doing anything back there. Or typically they just hit a preset lighting configurations then leave it.

Is there any software that I can run on my laptop on stage that I can send MIDI or via USB signal to the light board with a pre determined light show I program?

Any advice or guidance would be great.

Thanks!

DMX. It's midi for lights, you can control that from a laptop.
