yamaha cs01 pitch wheel query...

Post by fletriste » Tue May 04, 2010 4:46 pm

HI !!! i've recently acquired a yamaha cs01 MK1. awesome synth. PWM at it's best.

however..... my pitch bend wheel seems to bend notes downwards... and by over an octave...

is this usual? and also, is this configurable?

if this is normal perhaps it was originally specified to help synth players re-create some kind of guitar playing technique... ha ha ha

Well it's normally spring loaded to be stuck all the way down, if that's what you mean. But from there it goes up about an octave. And no it's not configurable, sadly.
