Paia Fatman enclosure?

Postby valverec » Wed Jul 07, 2010 12:49 am

I built a Paia Fatman about ten years ago and unfortunately did not buy it with a full enclosure, just the rack face. Does anyone know of a good enclosure I can attach the face to? Hopefully a cheap one too?

The shallow 2-space SKB racks turn up used for about $50.

If you have no experience with tools, you could always sign up for an adult-ed woodworking class and build an enclosure as your project.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

You can buy the desktop kit from Paia still. I did and it was pretty cheap when I got a used fatman. Keep in mind that the wire lengths to each pot is different between the rack and the desktop so you either have to force it and it's pretty ugly in there, or re-wire every pot to the correct lengths.
