Korg DDD-1 Rom Cards
I recently bought a Korg DDD-1 and was wondering if any type of old Korg Rom cards would work in it. Like the old M1 and Wavestation cards, as I remember seeing vids of a DDD-1 triggering slap bass and other sounds.

I'm quite sure that you can't use the M1 and WS cards.
As far as i know you can only use the Korg DDC Cards. There are many of them but they are rare.
There's a bass card called Variation 3 with a slap bass on it.

Re: Korg DDD-1 Rom Cards
yeah, the trick is to wait for these guys to get on it
They're sposed to be bringing out new ROMs for 808,606 and others, along with the 909 card. AFAIK they're making some more for release in the next couple of months...

I so need to get one of those cards and a couple of sound chips as well.
Too bad they don't take preorders.

I think they did a good job. It sounds exactly like an 808 coming out of a Korg DDD1.

yeah, but i was hoping for a more boomy kick option...
still, i think the ddd-1 is pretty cool and could be very useful if controlled via midi, what with the variable decay and tune settings. I must crack on with getting it hooked up!
