What can I do with beaten-but-functionnal synths?

Post by Scories » Wed Oct 27, 2010 1:33 am

I've got an old Minikorg 700 that looks quite bad. Broken keys fixed with glue, loose wooden frame paint in black, noisy sliders. What can I do with it?

I also have a Crumar Multiman-S with missing key in the bass section (some presets doesn't work on those keys).

I have a Roland SP-202 with 2 smartmedia card but witout the power supply.

What should I do with these?? :)

PS. I am from Qc, canada

Post them on this board,
or Ebay

Well, I don't know.. I paid 125$ or 150$ for it a dozen years ago. It's still in the same shape.

If you want to sell it, those 2 older type of SM card has some value. May be you can sell it separately. It's battery powered, still can be useful even without the power supply, specially with those 2 cards.

Sure, that's what I've always told me. But after a few years, I'd like to swap the Minikorg 700 for something else and I don't think it would be easy to find it a new home. It even has hand-written numbers on keys! Looks like trash.

The 202 just takes a regular 9V center negative supply, like any guitar pedal. You can pick one up for $10.

Then beaten-but functionnal synths are the solution!

You can use them right away, and eventually, a few months/years after, you spend 200-250$ to make them look like new. Just PM me! :D
