Sherman 2 problems, anyone own one?

I've had my Sherman 2 a little while but not given it the attention it deserves however I've always noticed a little interference of some sort at around '7' on filter 1 and the LFO depth never quite seems to totally cut off the modulation in the centre position. :x

Both are these little niggles aren't too noticeable when you crank up the overdrive but I've just had a session recording some drum machines and this interference and LFO bleed became a little too noticeable at time's.

Do any other Sherman owners have the same problems or have I got a duff unit or am I doing something wrong? :?
