Korg +5v- trigger to midi clock signal

I recently picked up a korg rhythm 55 drum machine which has a 5v trigger out on it... is there any device that will allow me to take the output of that and use it as a midi clock for something like an electribe?

You might find something here, not sure. It seems easier to get products that convert from the MIDI clock to a pulse. So you might have a hard time finding something suitable.

How about feeding the trigger pulse into a Korg Kaoss Pad 3 with Auto Tempo detection and outputing the MIDI clock to your Electribe.

Hmm if this would work that would be perfect! Plus it would give me a reason to buy a KP3
