+1. Take it to someone who knows what they're doing before you destroy the synth or electrocute yourself.madtheory wrote:OK. The inside of a Juno is probably not the place to learn basic electronics. Try a book, or a local school? Or take it to a tech.

You can either mod the headphone cable or just clip them to the connector ( +tip/-sleeve). then attach then were the Juno service manual specifies.

Have you tried lowering the VCA slider when playing a patch that distorts? I don't have my Juno in front of me but I'm pretty sure that should attenuate the signal going into the HPF and chorus, maybe addressing your problem. If you do have DC offset then that would be worth fixing longterm but maybe you want to work up to that.KennaOkoye wrote:Thank you so much. it happens when you play the lows chords... also, will most definitely happen with the saw and square on at the same time...Where is my chorus stuff located inside the board?
Good to hear it. And at least you now should know what a tip and sleeve are.KennaOkoye wrote:Took it to a tech! doesnt happen anymore LOL. Such an improvement. At 0 on my VCA and on H on the back, NO distortion
You might want to consider your future on this forum if you're going to insult the people who've been part of it for a long time.KennaOkoye wrote:Yup! I'm suprised I didn't get a warning for this thread for learning something new. The mod Tallowwater wrote me a private messages warning me because I wanted someone to explain to me why a synthesizer was over 3000 dollars because I didn't understand jargons on access virus website. I've learned how to solder, and learn some components of my juno in less than a month LOL. Just because I start a thread posted maybe three times in it and the uber nerds in here argues amongst themselves and not with me, I get a pm from a mod ttelling me not to ask questions about synthesizers on VINTAGESYNTHS.com an informative website. He said I didn't know what I was talking about....well duhhh! Lolol. That's y I asked. Why don't u go moderate an upty site.... The other mod said "nobody will crucify you here" LOL! I don't care about what u nerds bicker about I'm just learning, and have no place in any quarrells lol. I never thought access was a sore topic. Well I've figured out what synths I need to get. I'm good and thnx for those who helped!!!
