Solved, for now ;) Octatrack: how to quantize MIDI notes

Post by kushwonder » Wed Jan 30, 2013 3:11 am

my setup: I have a master MIDI keyboard running into my Octatrack which is controlling 5 hardware synths. I am trying to quantize the notes I record into the MIDI sequencer, but I cannot find an easy way to do this...The "quantize live recording" check box does not seem to work properly for what I am trying to do....I am used to sequencing on an ASR-10 which after I play a MIDI track, I can quantize to 1/4, 1/8, 1/8t, 1/16, 1/16t, 1/32, 1/32t, 1/64, 1/64t.

please help!..I am hurting bad :/
