Any way to link the arpeggiator to the 707? I know you can't via MIDI, but the control footswitch on the back of the prophet seems alot like a juno 60... ideas?

Should work with the footswitch according to the manual.

Yes, but I'd like to trigger it with an external drum machine, like my 707, so I don't have to tap the arp into place with my foot for every note.

Well I meant with the footswitch input. It says in the manual that it's possible to clock it, so you don't need to tap :)

Google is your friend:

Chapter 2-3

I suppose you already know that the 707 trigger out is programmed on the rimshot...

Yes, but unfortunately I've tried the 707 and it doesn't seem to be the correct whatever to trigger the Prophet's arp...

Well I quickly scanned through the service manual that you can find here:

http://elektrotanya.com/sequential-circ ... nload.html

Unfortunately I didn't find any info on what amount of V the footswitch input wants to see. I know that the 707 puts out 5V, could be too little... Do you have any other trigger source?

The user manual is a bit confusing; in section 1-6:

"Electrically, the footswitch is normally open, and closes when pressed."

Wasn't sure whether to interpret this as an S-trigger rather than V-trigger... But in 2-3 again:

"Hit footswitch quickly, since the sequencer will advance when the footswitch is released."

Which would point to a V-trigger again. (And to a strange design.)

You really should try with another trigger source or research the amount of V that the footswitch input needs.
