Blofeld. It fits in the pockets of most coats.

Both are awesome, but when I was choosing between Virus KB and Blofeld kb I chose Blofeld.

Blofeld is easier to program, USB port makes it fit in easily with modern DAW setups. It also (still) has annoying OS bugs related to MIDI clock synch so don't expect that to work properly.

Virus XL is a Virus B with reduced features and a lousy programming interface. So it has "that Virus sound" which is darker than a Blofeld in general.

It really depends on the kind of sounds you are looking for.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

well I got the blofeld today and right out of the box NEW the encoder for the presets is wacky! sometimes it takes 3 or 4 clicks to change the sound and other times it's right on. Go figure! Jesus, Why  can't they make anything that works right these days! I got a great price on the access virus xl rack so I have both in the end...lol.
