Modern editor for Alesis Quadrasynth Plus?

Post by StainlessSound » Wed Nov 27, 2013 11:11 pm

I have an original Alesis Quadrasynth Plus Piano whose LCD display has died. I can't find a repair shop anywhere that can get a replacement screen, and to be honest, it isn't really worth much money to me to replace the whole synth.

I'd still be interested in using it, but of course it's impossible to program without the display. There used to be several computer editors for the Quadrasynth line out there, but I can't find one that says it supports the original QS Plus AND works on modern operating systems.

I have both a Mac with OS X Mountain Lion (soon-ish to be Mavericks), and native Windows machines with Win 7 and 8. I could possibly resurrect an old laptop with Win XP, but that's far from optimal.

Can anyone report on an editor they're currently using successfully with one of these?
