Polysix Arpeggiator UP/DOWN Behavior.

Post by tomorrowstops » Sat Jan 17, 2015 1:06 am

Can someone verify the Arp Up/Down behavior for me? Right now if I play an F minor chord, here's what happens:

F, Ab, C, C, Ab, F, F, Ab, C....

Its repeating the top and bottom note. That doesn't seem to be what I remember.

So if you hold 2 notes, it plays F-F-C-C instead of F-C-F-C?
This looks like a psychotropic reaction. No wonder it's so popular...

Alright. I guess I had forgotten. What a useless arp setting. All the other up/down arps I've played don't repeat notes!

Yeah, it's kind of against the logic... I don't remember noticing that when I had mine, which is also kind of weird since it's one of my favorite option!
Available for sale:
-Chamber of Sounds Jupiter III (mk1) & Jupiter T (mk1)
-The Complete DX7- Howard Massey (with original enclosed sounds on soft disks)

Well thankfully I also have the ability to run the arp as a sequencer, so it really doesn't even matter. I had just put everything back together after getting some things fixed and modifying the key assigner chip. I thought I had screwed something up!
