Speaking about the TR-505 you mean? I would say the sound is alittle bit cheesy (and LoFi), but thats okay. I am not talking about the build quality, because for example my unit was heavy used (even before i bought it), and it still works. Even each single trigger pad. So, the build quality cant be that bad. I am curious if all those nowadays VAs will work in 20 years or more, too.
