Yamaha ex5 problem

Post by MCariCooper » Sun May 01, 2016 1:45 pm

So I recently bought a yamaha ex5. When I bought it everything worked on it. Then when I got it home and turned on and the screen said now executing then it switched and said power off at once. Now I don't know what to do.

Have you powered off and back on? I ask because it sounds like you have left it on, and the message sounds like one that comes up if you power on while (in this case accidentally) holding down a particular combination of buttons to perform a factory reset. One would then assume that if you restart without holding any buttons, it will boot normally.

The only thing that comes to mind is something along the lines of what db suggested. The keyboard may have bumped something during transport, and a button or two may be jammed in the down position.
