DIY Juno-60 Expression VCF Pedal

Post by Cecil Dubreque » Sun May 15, 2016 4:49 pm

Does anyone know what value pot would be suitable for use in an expression pedal for a Juno-60?

I just today picked up an old organ expression pedal for a couple of quid and I am looking at swapping out the current 2KA pot for one that would work with the Juno VCF socket.

Any ideas?

Service manual says 20k. Try linear first, then log.

Thanks! I was certain I had seen a similar value somewhere in the manual but having been thoroughly through it couldn't turn anything up. Totally forgot to look in the service manual.

I'll dig through my box of resistors to see if just shorting out the pot with them around that value makes a difference then I'll order a 20k linear.
