Recording midi file with a hardware synth sound

Hello everyone.

I have a hardware synth (Roland JP-08), a midi interface cable (Roland UM-ONE), and a midi track that I wrote in Guitar Pro. The thing is that I don't have skills to play that music on keyboard but I want to have it recorded using the sound that I created on JP-08. So I want to send the midi track melody somehow to the JP-08 where it will transform from midi information to a sound created by JP-08 and send the sound back to computer and record it.
The only thing I managed to is to play the midi track using the computer midi sound engine from the JP-08 speaker, which is of course totally useless.

Can anyone please help me?
Thanks, Jirka

You need to either plug the synth into the computers MIC jack, or use an audio interface.

FyI, the usb audio thing doesn't work with windows xp. May not work with other OS's as well
