A few synthpop tracks I made.

Postby BackwardsSamurai » Fri Jun 30, 2017 7:34 am

I made a few songs in a day or two, and I figured I'd show 'em off. Let me know what you guys think.

I did these all with VSTs and sampling. Not trying to be misleading, but maybe I should of noted this the first time around.

"Discofox" - Italo Disco track.

"Night Drive" - Late 80's-style Eurodance/Hi-NRG.

Spread them around! Share them with your friends, your family, your mail carrier, your pets, your coworkers, really anybody who can listen to music.

I quite like Discofox. It really has that Italo sound, well done.

Like the first replying person, I like your first track "Discofox". You really captured the upbeat HI NRG style of Italo.

PS: How and what did you use to record?

Umm...not gonna lie. Ostensibly, these were real instruments. I actually used a ton of free VSTs. Sorry it misleading; I thought I mentioned that in the original post. I'm gonna go edit that right now.

I've made more songs. Again, with VST plugins.

"Fault Between Lines" was made from watching SynthMania videos for an hour. That man has Italo Disco to a 't'.

"Harmonic Dissonance" came from an Annie Lennox song I can't get out of my head.

"Spacey" has some sequenced synth bass and synth brass for Sylvester/Moroder-influenced combi Space Disco sound.

Hopefully the VST use doesn't put anybody off.

Nice, I like "Monochrome" and "Night Drive", keep going! But those made with VST plugins... probably I'm not a fan

Well, every track was made entirely with VST plugins and samples.
