Dave Smith Instrument Rev2 demo

Post by clubbedtodeath » Mon Oct 02, 2017 8:38 pm

Hello all,

Been a while. Below is a quick demo of a string machine patch I made on my DSI Rev2, going from soft to all-out stringerness:

Details:
- One Rev2 track with compression+reverb
- Ableton Live drums

That's it! Let me know what you think.

Cheers

Great patch! I like the soft version better, since the warbling is a little more subdued. The filter sweep was exciting too

Thanks for the comments! It's all the synth, not me - I'm still surprised that's a monotimbral patch.

PS. I could modulate the LFO amp with low pass frequency, that would cut the warble. Pretty easy to do with the Rev2's mod matrix.
