I've been reading a lot of H.P. Lovecraft recently and created this odd little tune as an homage using only the Nord Wave. The following short demo MP3 uses no outboard effects. There are numerous VA, FM, Mellotron, Sampled and Hybrid sounds used: Wave Demo

More info here: http://carbon111.com/nordwave.html

Here's a super-silly demo of my MidiMini. All dry, except for little MF-104z delay on the sync lead. Drums from Steinberg Groove Agent. Please excuse the bad timing, bad playing and bad everything :D The synth itself is bloody great, though ;)

It's more of a style example rather than a synth example (bass was done by Absynth) but it's not worth its own thread:

http://www.theheartcore.com/music/yooze ... o_easy.mp3

It really -is- sampling an old TV show, reversing it and pitching it up, then putting a beat below it.

(in case this does not ring any bells, Boards of Canada.)

I'm definitely not Prince, but I admit to fondling my nether regions while playing that :D

just awesome sounds. so midi mini has osc sync too.

the sound on the right (w 3 vco in chord) seems to have uncalibrated V/Oct .. slightly off pitch depending which note range you play ..

Yep, VCO2 can be synced, and swept with the filter envelope. Rather nice sync sound, but I really like the CEM3340 sync more. But still, it's definitely useful and nice to have. And yes, I really should calibrate it
