Me being a loser with my new MicroQ
There's this large chunk in the middle where I kinda go overboard with the arpeggiator because I was making patches as I went and I started trying to name my patch, forgetting that I left record on.

found this thread on harmony central, might be worth having a look at but would be a bit mean to nick all the hard work..

Here are some short mp3 examples of the Yamaha SK20. No fancy playing or groundbreaking sounds, just a tour of the basic sounds and a touch of reverb.

SK20's three organ presets with alternating leslie speed. In addition to presets the "drawbar" settings can be set manually.
Organ preset with sustain.
Strings I & II, with ensemble effect.
Synth presets are all brassy. Strings done in another take.
Strings I & II with a resonant synth sweep.
Hopefully someone finds these examples helpful.

All patches are mine, except the minimoogish lead (frome the user forum patches) and the hi-hit (preset)
I haven't used external effects, and there's zero mastering (only an waves L2 compressor)

Crumar Multiman S & Moog Opus3 strings
edited to add another Opus3 sample...
A couple of short clips from Crumar Multiman S and one from Moog Opus3. Quality of these clips isn't that great as these were recorded with a crappy audio interface and with poor levels. These are just basic examples of the basic string ensemble sounds, no fancy playing, just chords with some tweaking.
Crumar Multiman S, hands on with the Brightness slider
Crumar Multiman S, adjusting levels between Violins and Cellos
Crumar Multiman S, split keyboard, brass and strings
Moog Opus3 #1, adjusting the chorus depth, chorus set to Slow and then to Fast
Moog Opus3 #2, couple of string chords and a couple of synth sweeps with layered high-pass filter strings.
Nothing special, but hopefully these will provide some reference to anyone interested in the string sound of these nice machines. I have some more Opus samples and I'll upload them when I get the chance.

Inspired by Ocp's YouTube videos, and to vent my own frustrations, I started toying with the Macbeth M3X this morning. I recorded around 45 minutes of a simple arpeggio line while I tweaked away. Since there aren't too many M3X mp3s available, I decided to put parts of my recordings available online. These are big files and with absolutely no musical value
, so download only if interested in the M3X sound. One simple arpeggio repeated ad nauseaum, some reverb and a lot of unplanned knob fiddling:
M3X: Episode I (7.1 MB)
M3X: Episode II (9.4 MB)
...And as a bonus a short example of a multitracked M3X (1.3 MB).

Here's a simple ASM-2 demo I knocked up a week or so ago. All sounds including drums coming from the ASM-2.
Just a heads up - it's not as bassy as it could be, because I didn't have enough patchcables then to put the signal through the VCAs, so I simply clamped the notes off with the VCF and EQ'd out the low-frequency leakage.
Anyway, enjoy!

in my soundclick page there are two tracks made only with the korg ds8 (except for the drums), called 'yu tkp' and 'katharsis', and a lot of stuff made with the novation ks rack, most notably 'o the sea the sea crimson', 'vaccaboy', 'toy piano', '7', '3' (made with the first performance patch slightly detuned, treated in soundforge) and '2'..
