Stupid acid track

Post by toad » Fri Aug 01, 2008 6:28 pm

Hi everybody!
Inspired by the Ceephax Acid Crew gig I saw last weekend, I made
this:
http://tcolerus.googlepages.com/Acid_Dumb.mp3
It's basically a live jam, sequenced in Bidule, and recorded to a stereo file.
Hope you like it.

acid sample sounds kind of funny, but I did like the bassline.
Synths: Moog voyager, Roland JX-3P, Roland Juno 106
Other: Akai MPC 1000, Korg Koass pd. 3, Sherman filterbank 2, Hammond T-211,Yorkville LS 800 (for bass)

Thanks for the kind words, everyone!
It started out as a bit of a joke, but it turned out pretty nice, if i may say so myself.
Maybe i should make a more "serious" version... hmm
The bass is a Microkorg (through some software overdrive) btw.

I like the background ambience. But it kind of sounds like you're saying "a*s music" at times instead of "acid music".
