Awesome!

Nice group of songs and nice combo of synths too. I love that Juno pad you guys were using.

The Juno sounds so awesome. It can cut right through any mix! :)

Nope! I was born in 1991 (guy in the blue shirt), and the other guys were born in 1992. My synths are the Juno, the MicroKORG and the ARP Axxe, and I just bought a Moog Prodigy! Are there any other young synth players out there? :?

Thanks for the comments, everyone!

Born in '89; started playing a Juno-6 at 16. I'm 19 now, and I still love the 6.

Great performace. Love the Rick Roll at the end. ;)

Nice, but instead of the truncated "Aah" sample being manipulated by the pitch wheel during "Rockit," you should have had an actual turntablist scratching the "Fresh" sample (on vinyl!) originally used in the song. That would have made the video so much better. And yes, I do know a few things about scratching records.

Ha ! great stuff. You played all those, moving between the synths without cracking up once, I never could of done that ! Not heard Mr Roboto for a loooong time, thanks for sharing. :D

hey, im the guy in the black t-shirt. the one doing the 'scratching'.

I would have much preferred to scratch for real, but due to my lack of knowledge and the fact id most likely fail i stuck to the 'turntablist' plugin. Its not bad, but i would have preferred real scratching :P maybe if there's more required in the future ill give it a shot :D

thanks for the comment!

I'm also 17, but my synth collection isn't nearly as nice as you fellow's collection (just a Microkorg & some junked up garage sale finds in my hardware section). I feel like I'm behind.

Spleg, that was absolutely AWESOME! I have dialup right now so had to hiccup, start and stop through the original download from YouTube, but if I'm patient and quick enough, I can play the whole thing through again, and did. Listened to it four times! Good mix. Great stuff. Haven't enjoyed anything so much since my son talked me into getting the Essential Journey CD's.

I found this forum because I was looking for information on the Korg Triton Extreme Workstation which I just bought for my 27-year-old son off ebay. His Korg Trinity was stolen a few years back, and he has insisted he can create music on the computer. But he is so talented in techno/new age, that I really think he needs an instrument he can work on and with. I have tapes here he made with the Trinity, and they are fantastic.

I'm a 58-year-old grannie (not my son's kids, yet), an original Beatles fan, and a technopeasant. But I gotta tell you how great it was to see young men with hair again, and with amazing talent! I especially got a kick out of the hair tossing during Jump!

I've already bought the Korg Triton Extreme, but if anyone has any comments about it, pro or con, I'd be interested in hearing them. That Trinity was some kind of music machine. Enya uses one for her music. The versatility is impressive.
