the start reminded me of something automatic gainsay would do

which synths are doing what?

your vocals kind of remind me of ian curtis or peter murphy, i'm sure you've heard that a million times. you need to bring them out more in the mix though, they sound like they have no high end, double track them as well if you havent already/raise the volume of the double

your drummer is good.
