It definitely nails that era! It sounds like something that could have been playing near the end of Boogie Nights during one of Diggler's more hopeful moments. ;)

But we need a video of some guy/girl training, you know jogging out on the streets with a luminous headband on or something. Or in the dance studio in Fame.

What synths did you use for this? Any special effects?

I like this.

It can be hard to come up with 80s style instrumentals that manage to keep up the listener's interest all throughout the track. The bridge here does the trick. I love it that you've proven how great free software like the Synth1 and the mighty freeverb can sound.

Now that I think about it, this sounds a bit Futurecop!-ish.
