V-synth plus XL7-EMX1 track

Post by balma » Mon Apr 12, 2010 10:32 pm

Here it is

Vsynth, kick & Bass, noise vocals, strings, pianos and chords.
EMX: most of the drums, arppegios and some metalic noises
Command station: keeping on sequences and controlling 100% of the V synth sounds, also performing and storing all the knob tweaking some pads and noises.

Thanks man!

V synth has a wide range of sound, 3-4 years owning it are not enough to get the best of it. The weird vocalizations comes all from it. It can sounds classic or bizarre.
However is a pain when using the multitimbre mode.

Without Midi channel reasignation and mapping on a flexible external sequencer as the EMU command station it would be hard to get so much different sounds at the same time on the V-Synth. kick, basses, pads, a lead, and keyboard performance with the piano.

Kind of the style of music I expected from you Balma, however I didn't expect it to be this good.

Very nice, old chap. Proper house. None of that trance shite.

ok it worked!

good tune, lots of detail and a nice mix - busy but not cluttered.
thanks for sharing

Many thanks for listening and good reviews.

I like trance, but I'm bored after hearing a couple of tracks, because it has become a very predictable trip. However, I take some elements from it and try to use them under a different perspective.
My latest tracks are quite different from this one. More abstractions, bit crushing leads, minimal and the Fizmo for some background evolving pads....
