I think that both tracks couldn't be more 80s than what you did.
They could have been the soundtrack of movies such as "Weird science", "The breakfast club", "The wizard", "Karate kid" and so on, I loved that cheesy films.
The 2nd one is stucked in my head since 2 days, not bad at all.
I thought the sounds came from some Roland Jx synth, surprisingly it is a vst. Really good choice of sounds.

X2... lovely sounds, lovely tracks, very 80s. Two thumbs up. I'd give more, but I only have 2 thumbs.

Two VCO: thanks to the push rods, one can choose several forms of waves at the same time!
