EDIT: Using this thread to announce new releases 8-)

hey guys,

I have a new EP coming up (planned to be released in the first week of september) on LuxRec, a new and promising label here in zürich. The tracks on this EP could be described as Space Acid / Jack or sth like that. I just uploaded the tunes on myspace (first three tracks in the player, also take notice of the blog entry I posted) and you can have a listen there. I also plan to finally get a soundcloud account and will put them up there, will post the link in the soundcloud thread as soon as it's up.

I hope you enjoy it and any kind of feedback is welcome!

cheers!

Quite liked the second part of electric infinite, in a funky sort of disco way :)

There was something strange about the riff in love at the speed of light that i didn't like, it had a strange off-time feel i didn't like.

hey tekkentool,

thanks for the reply!

It's funny how everybody likes EI pt 2, for me personally it's actually the weakest track on the EP :)

The strange off-time feeling might result from my sloppy ms20 playing, or the massive amount of space echo that was used ;)

cheers!

Resurrecting this thread to share a recording of a recent gig of mine with you guys. I thought it went down quite well, and for once I managed to get a clean recording.

The gig was at club Zukunft in Zurich, last Friday (28 Feb 14). All of it is improvised on the fly, I started with empty patterns.

Gear: 808 and 707 for drums; DX100 for pads and strings and so on; the two sequenced mono lines are from my modular: bass is my Cwejman voice (2x VCO6, MMF1, ADSR VC2, ADDAC 802 VCA) sequenced by Acidlab Bassline 2; the lead voice is 2x ADDAC 701, Doepfer A124, Doepfer A-142-4, ADDAC 802 VCA - sequenced by Makenoise René (which is triggered by the 808).

Here it is:

Hope you enjoy it, as always any comments are appreciated.

Cheers!

And another liveset recording!

Image

MPC1000 for beats and polysynths, polysynths going through a Waldorf 2-pole.

2 voices from my modular, 2x Cwejman VCO6 through MMF6 and 2x Addac 701 through MMF1. Both sequenced from the awesome Audio Damage Sequencer :headbang: Boss BX600 for mixing, TC HoF and Boss DD7 for delay and reverb. My minimal gigging setup.

Here's the recoding:

On Soundcloud, Flo wrote:Here is my liveset from Klubi in Zurich, 29 Nov 2014. It was a fine Lux Rec evening that also sported a great liveset by Echo 106. Thanks to everybody at Lux Rec and Klubi for the support!

My master mixer channel was haunted first and produced some mad dropouts, after a successful exorcism at around 12 min (i.e. changing the mixer channel) it was fine. Had to cut out quite a bit in the first three tracks though, sometimes the cuts are rather obvious, hahaha. Bit sad that not much is left of the second track, but whatever. Figured I'd share it anyways, couple of nice parts in there.
Hope you enjoy it, cheers! :drinks:
