Siesta Submarina (TrondC) Liveset 2011

Post by TrondC » Sat Jan 29, 2011 9:42 am

30 minutes of live electronics, goes from deep and mellow to percussive and bouncy (or something like that..) and ends on a noisy techno all-in. made for a gig tonight, but will expand this further, also playing atleast twice the next month.

Machinedrum UW mk2 (all drums, some melodic elements, stab samples, bass. chaos)
Monomachine Mk2 ("clean" chords, tape-style delayed chord stabs, noisy bass. Sequencing the Doepfer)
Doepfer Dark Energy (analog bass duty)
Kaoss Pad 3 (live looping, distortion filter, talkfilter/delay, filter/delay)
Zero 4 Mixer (live fading in/out tracks + some delay and decimator fx)

Wonderful, as always! :D

I never asked how you came up with your name? It's kind of cool, but also a bit complicated, I wonder if things would have been easier for you in terms of promotion if you chose a simpler name...

thanx :)

yeah the name just arried from a train of thought and I thought it fit the mood of a track I was working on. initially a track title I just sort of got stuck there. and YES, it is a bit complicated and many a moon have I been thinking about changing into a simpler, shorter name... :)
