Tis The Season To Be Tacky?

Post by px2009 » Fri Dec 16, 2011 12:22 am

Never heard of Vocaloid until hearing his great piece. http://www.vintagesynth.com/forum/viewt ... =8&t=63976 So it seemed a good idea to learn how to use this piece of software by throwing together a few Christmas melodies......

All music recorded using Arturia's Moog Modular V2.6 softsynth.

I think i just laughed until I pee'd myself. It's like being forced to drink 5 litres of hot mulled wine in 60 seconds with a .44 magnum held to your head before being grabbed by the hair and suffocated face down in a massive LSD impregnated Brie. :o

Very nice work all round. :D Vocaloid is a lot of fun.

Thanks.....Well it was either do some Christmas Carols with Vocaloid or watch some old episodes of Follygate Farm :D :D :D :D Vocaloid was a new one to me, and only discovered after reading your post. It's been interesting trying to work out the best way to enter the lyrics. Makes you think more about how words fit into melodies.

My three year old just said "Hey, it's Alvin & the Chipmunks singing!"

That's a good point......If only I'd done a Christmas album in a chipmunk style voice I could have made a fortune :D :D :D
