"Electronic Encounters"-music inspired by CE3K,free download

Post by Logan 5 » Tue Mar 06, 2012 1:02 pm

Last year,I was asked to contribute to a collection of new electronic music inspired by the legendary film "Close Encounters of the Third Kind".
A varied collection of contemporary electronic musicians each produced a piece, which was co-ordinated by Kev Oyston, who records under the name "Soulless Party".

There is now an expanded version available with 6 extra tracks and additional artwork-still a free download!
My own contribution as Logan 5 is entitled "Believe".

"believe" is a very cool track. very minimal but still very interesting to hear. if it could be improved i would say add a more coherent melody.

Thanks for listening!
I realise that "Believe" does sound extremely minimal in regards to melody and does not have many sounds in it,but I felt it was nevertheless 'complete',as far as I was concerned anyway!
There are some very interesting pieces on the album, some of them by personal friends of mine such as Sarah Angliss from Spacedog,Neil Fellowes of Geigertek and Kev Oyston of Soulles Party, who co-ordinated the project.
