Tom's hardware DAW test (soundtrack piece)
This is the track that I wrote as a DAW test for Tom's Hardware. The restrictions were a bit odd- all the plugins are free or demos that have full functionality as a demo - because other writers for Tom's needed to be able to do the test. The drums are old Emulator II samples being played from a soundfont, multiple instances of KX-Synth providing most of the brass and string sounds, and pads coming from Discovery Pro and DSK Choirz. Its meant to sound like a sci-fi film score.

Sounds great. It's pretty amazing how much can be accomplished with free software.

Also, was done in REAPER. Uses Wavearts Power suite track plugs and mastering plugs all over the place (I have the demos installed because DAWBench uses them)
