This is something I've been working on the last week. It's my first time making something more complex than a standard verse-chorus-verse(...) kind of song and using different time signatures. The sounds and chord progressions aren't the most original or anything, but I think it's the best I can do for now. (I really need a decent monosynth for something like this; the Juno-6's lack of portamento is a real pain in the a*s.) I'm especially happy with the part that begins at 3.50, even though my playing there is a bit sloppy there. What do you think?

Nice work. Turn up the delay on that Tele part IMHO.

Thanks.
I agree about the delay; I did actually try some delay on it, but it just ended up sounding messy no matter what I did. I'll try to get it right.

Just kidding, but it does remind me of Jan Hammer's drums and late-80s TD. Nice work

Hah, that's actually a surprisingly fitting description
. The drum sound is indeed very Jan Hammer like, that was the knd of sound I wanted (and I suck at making realistic sounding drum beats, so it's the best I can do anyway). I guess it would have sounded even better with a Linn or something, the RX11 doesn't quite have that same punchy sound :/. Thanks btw
