Roland JX-3P multitrack demo

Post by antilles » Fri Jan 31, 2014 1:37 am

Hi there,

I've made a multitrack demo with my JX-3P and PG-200 programmer. The point of the demo isn't so much to demonstrate it's capabilities or sonic potential, but more what the synth inspired me to do. The track is cheesy eighties music!

Let me know what you think!

Sweet! Reminds me a lot of The Great Giana Sisters and C64 music in general.

It's also got me kinda wanting to get a JX-3P again...it really is quite a different sound from the later JXes...

Great song! I've always thought the JX-3P was one of the most overlooked synths of the 80s - it really can do a lot and it sounds great.

I especially like the Dr. Who-ish part around 2:30!
